Immersed in the heart of the old city and its monuments, historical markets of Palermo, and Ballarò in particular, they seem small enclaves where time has stopped. Traditional are the "abbanniate" sellers', who recite their wares with chanting features that overlap each other. A full immersion in the entries, colors and scents of Palermo.
In the Ballarò market you can sample the street food, typical of Palermo cuisine: fritters, 'cazzilli', boiled vegetables, octopus and 'quarume'.
