Berthillon is simply a must for ice cream lovers. It’s well-known in Paris for its top-quality ice cream and sorbet. The variety is impressive and the flavours are exquisite. Moreover, Berthillon is an excellent reason to visit the charming Île Saint-Louis. You’ll pay around €5 for two scoops.
Note that the main Berthillon boutique is often crowded. The good news is that you can find their famous ice creams at partner shops like Nicolsen Chocolatier at 112 rue Mouffetard in the 5th district, and Smiths Bakery at 12 rue de Buci in the 6th. There's also a small Berthillon stand by the Saint-Louis Bridge leading to Notre Dame.
I love sorbet and my favourite combination is passion fruit and raspberry, but I’m sure the other flavours are also insanely delicious.
