Bir-Hakeim Bridge

Why locals love it

This bridge is the only one of its kind in the city. You can walk from Bir-Hakeim subway station on the left bank to Passy station on the right bank. With beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower and the banks of the Seine, it’s a great place for photos. People often come here to do photo shoots for weddings and advertisements.

Why you should visit it

Sometimes it can be fun to visit Parisian locations that have featured prominently in films. I’ve spotted this bridge in two films – Inception and Munich, though it has also appeared in others. Check out the metro on the upper level and the Art Deco columns and lights.

Special tip

The only negative part is the traffic. If you don’t want cars in your pictures, wait until the traffic light turns red.
