Why locals love it

Located in the Parc de la Villette leisure complex that covers an area of 55 hectares, this place hosts various exhibitions on science and innovation and lots of activities for kids. It's also home to a planetarium, an aquarium, a library and even a submarine! It's a fun place to learn about the sciences, nature and technology.

Why you should visit it

It's one of the largest science museums in Europe. The futurist architecture of the building is pretty interesting, especially the 3D cinema "La Géode" which is a sphere that spans 36 metres in diameter and is entirely covered of mirrors. After your visit you can take a walk in the park or visit the cinema to enjoy the gigantic hemispheric screen!

Special tip

It’s an inclusive place that caters to those with disabilities and there are various exhibitions that stimulate senses other than sight and hearing.

The best science/technology exhibitions you can find, allways with a strong ludic inclination. If you find science boring you'Lloyd definitely change your mind ! The kids section is a one of a kind place, with interactive exhibitions specially made for your gnomes. The place also has a 3d cinema with lively documentaries, a library, and a 360 cinema dome. A must see place that all parisians know and love.
