The king of French fries

Dédé La Frite

Why locals love it

Dédé is the nickname of the owner of this fun bar-restaurant. Unlike typical French brasseries, it’s an original place with colourful mood lighting and red and yellow walls. It’s a very cool spot to meet friends before going dancing at the nearby pubs. I recommend Dédé La Frite if you want to have a quick snack in a relaxed atmosphere.

Why you should visit it

Prices are reasonable – a small tray of French fries costs €2.50, a big one €4.50. You can get a big tray for the price of a small one during happy hour from 5–8 pm. A 250 ml Grolsch beer will set you back €2.90, a 500 ml one €5.50. Service is efficient and not at all pretentious.

Special tip

I recommend you order a beer with your French fries. It would be a shame not to!
