Baguettes, viennoiseries, pastries, cakes, tarts... you’ll want to buy everything! There are so many delicious sweet treats that it can be very hard to choose. I'm a particularly big fan of the canelé – a small cake with a custard centre and caramalised crust from the Bordeaux region. They also offer tasty sandwiches.
Why you should visit it
There are many Eric Kayser bakeries in Paris. Don’t hesitate to enter if you find one in another neighbourhood. The bakery on rue Monge was the very first. The prices are a little expensive, but everything is so good and the variety is so wide! It’s a true pleasure for both the eyes and taste buds.
Special tip
I usually buy a sandwich and canelés and eat them in a park. And if I invite friends over for dinner, I offer them top quality bread from here.
