Farago Pintxo Club

Why locals love it

Farago is a new restaurant that serves Basque tapas called pintxos, which are small snacks that can be eaten sitting or standing, as a meal or shared. The Michelin-starred chef Fernando Canales comes from the Basque Country in northern Spain and seems to be a culinary magician! This amazing little place is a real hidden gem in the 10th district.

Why you should visit it

It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the décor is uncluttered and sophisticated, and the food is high quality and unusual. Not only are the pintxos delicious, they’re also beautifully presented. The chef combines tapas with gastronomy, and it works. A tasting menu for two costs €20 per person. The menu changes seasonally.

Special tip

The chef comes up with a new pintxo every day. They don’t take bookings, except for the table at the back (for groups of 8–12 persons).
