Why locals love it
Fargo is all about rock music and music that’s clearly influenced by rock – there’s everything from pop, folk and indie to metal, blues and country. The shop has a strong North American feeling which is apparent in the selection of music and even in the décor – it’s more reminiscent of an American film than a Parisian boutique.
Why you should visit it
If you like rock, this is a good shop for both records and CDs. The selection is generally not too extreme, circling more or less around pop rock and its variations. New releases on Fargo’s self-titled label are reason enough to stop by. The label has been around since 2000 and organises the Fargo Rock City festival every spring.
