Old & luxurious
Why locals love it
This covered passage was built in 1823. It’s the most luxurious of all the remaining passages in Paris. The natural light that streams through the glass roof is very beautiful, as is the cupola. You can also admire the mosaics on the floor and the decorative walls. The cornucopias serve as a reminder that it was built for very wealthy people.
Why you should visit it
It's a rare thing to be able to visit private passages like this one. They are unique testaments to the past. Thanks to recent renovations, this one is particularly superb.
This passage is more luxurious than others so shops are more expensive.
