Why locals love it

Located on the lively neighborhood of Belleville, this open-air market is truly a little gem. Well known for its multiculturalism, with both Chinese and North-African culture, you could find in the surrounding lots of shops and restaurants. On the traffic island of Boulevard de Belleville, the ambiance is getting warmer every Tuesday and Friday.

Why you should visit it

This market makes me think about a Souk and prices go with. Especially for fruits and vegetables, you'll notice dozen of different stalls offering typical products and exotic ones. It's in the neighborhood being. With the ethnic cuisine restaurant around here, you'll for sure find astonishing products. You can also find some clothes stalls here.

Special tip

On the boulevard, you've a delightful oriental patisserie called "Nani". Great for a little sweet touch!

I love the "local market" experience that Paris offers. It is a true french habit of visiting their local market, meeting your friendly salesperson, making new acquaintances and buying gorgeous, fresh and healthy food.
