Nestled in an industrial-looking building on the unassuming rue Crespin du Gast in the 11th, Le Perchoir is the kind of place that only Parisians in the know frequent. We all know that Paris doesn't have many rooftop bars and terraces that also whip up a great cocktail, which is why Le Perchoir was an immediate hit when it opened in 2013.

Why you should visit it
You aren’t getting your classic Eiffel Tower view here – but you will see Montmartre surrounded by typical Parisian rooftops, which is just as impressive. Their restaurant, one floor down, is another star with its “carte blanche” menu at €48 that changes daily (meaning each dish is a surprise). I tried it out and enjoyed every single minute of it.
