This place is worth seeing. First of all, without even being passionate about the famous author, this place overflows with treasures. It's like a trip from the third millenium to the 19th century. Moreover, the permanent exhibitions are free. According to me, it's a great way to discover a part of Victor Hugo's life.
Be careful: the temporary exhibitions are not free (5-7€).
