This flea market is enormous. You can easily spend a whole day here. Clothes, books, jewellery, toys, artefacts, vintage items, furniture, antiques, vinyls – it’s paradise for those hunting for treasures. There are 14 sections, each with its own identity and atmosphere.

Why you should visit it
People say that this is the most beautiful flea market in the world, though it’s the only one I’ve ever been to so I can’t compare. What I can say is that there’s nothing else like it in Paris. From Porte de Cligancourt subway station, pass under the Péripherique and continue walking until you reach the market.

Here you can practise your French AND your bargaining skills. Note that it’s illegal to buy knockoffs in France. And be careful with your valuables.
