Palais de Tokyo11
Why locals love it
Ever since it was established in 2002, Palais de Tokyo has been creating a buzz. Today it’s one of the largest spaces dedicated to contemporary art in Europe. It hosts many events both during the day and at night.
Why you should visit it
Not only is it an art gallery, it's also a hub of artistic innovation and interaction, and one of Paris' most alternative cultural spaces. Set in an amazing location near Trocadéro, it’s a great place to escape overly touristy museums. There’s a beautiful garden and two restaurants – one serving French food, the other Japanese.
Take a detour past the oldest photo booth in Paris and have some black and white pictures taken!
