Quai Branly Museum

Why locals love it

I have visited this museum three times since it opened in 2006. The architecture is modern and the collections are unique. It’s different from classic Parisian museums – here you won't admire famous Italian or French paintings, but you will discover indigenous arts and cultures. Prices range from €7.60–15.20 for exhibitions.

Why you should visit it

The gardens are beautiful and the exterior green wall is amazing. The museum is interactive and very educational. Instead of only putting a text alongside each artwork, they try to find original ways to teach visitors about cultural diversity. It’s fascinating to discover the stories of very old cultures that paved the way for modern mankind.

Special tip

It’s a great place for kids. They organise workshops for all ages – check out their website for details.
