So me and my mom can spend 3 night in a hotel about an hour away from Paris city. The only possibilities that are left for us to stay there, is either way the end of October or the end of December. I was wondering when it would be the best time to go to enjoy Paris. When it's fall or when it's winter? Thank you guys so much for helping us out. Much love

Unless you are set on the Christmas markets, I would choose October. Nevertheless, October in Paris is generally chilly and damp, with average temperatures at around 52 degrees F. Rain is common and October is generally best-suited for indoor activities like visiting exhibits at Paris' many fine museums, or people-watching from inside a warm, cozy cafe.
October in Paris really is the month of contemporary art. For the Nuit Blanche event, at the beginning of October, contemporary artists take over the City of Light from dusk till dawn.
Here are some of the top events to add to your travel plans if you'll be visiting Paris in October. Musical Waters at the Chateau de Versailles. Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Nuit Blanche (White Night) Montmartre Wine Harvest. Vintage Car Parade Through Paris. Paris Now - Paris Asian Art Fair.
From the around the 10th or 11th, October for 4 days, dates depending on the year, Montmartre neighborhood is definitely the place to be! You will be able to witness the Vendanges de Montmartre (Montmartre Wine Harvest).
Nuit Blanche: around Oct. 7 depending on year (this was day in 2017), hundreds of Paris sites, including museums, galleries, and monuments stay open all night, allowing for some promising cultural discoveries and surreal nocturnal itineraries.
From the near end of October until the 1st of November, the Salon du Chocolat, at Porte de Versailles.
International Contemporary Art Fair around 3rd week in October.

Thanks so much for letting me know, I really appreciate.
I'd say October, still "ok" temperatures and less busy than end of December.

Hmm.. Thanks for letting me know!
Hi Sarah,

I totally agree with LEILA, October is definitely the best time, there’s too many visitors in December.

The weather is still nice at that time of the year.

Best regards.
