Any advice for affordable/easy transportation to Versailles from the Trocadero area? We are going to be staying in between the Passy station and the Trocadero station.

I had in my trip notes that RER Line C would be best but thought I would ask all you wonderful people!

Merci!

there is a direct train departing from Paris Champ de Mars/TourEiffel and arriving at Versailles Château Rive Gauche. Services depart every 15 minutes, and operate every day. The journey takes approximately 26 min. Take Metro at Trocodero Line 6 Green towards Nation. 2 stops. Get off Bir Hakeim and walk 2 minutes to Champs de Mars, Tour Eiffel. Take the RER from there.

Walk to the RER C, it is the best way to get to Versailles.
If you download the App Citymapper you'll be able to see the status of the trains just in case there are any problems in the line, and you'll be able to find alternatives.

Hi!
RER C is the quickest way from Trocadero to Versailles. It takes about 30 min. You can take it from the Bir Hakeim station wich is 2 stations from Trocadéro by subway (Line 6). The end stop is at Versailles Rive Gauche wich is just next to the castle and to the city center.
For more détails you can have a look on the RATP website.
Enjoy your stay!
