We have booked a 3 night stay on 27th April and also booked the Moulin Rouge show on the 28th. Best way to get there?

Hi Ian,
I wouldn't recommend to stay in neither area and choose something more central.
I would go for the area called "Saint Germain de Pres" or "Le Marais".
You can learn how to use the metro or just grab Uber and get to the Eiffel Tower or Moulin Rouge within less than 30 min. depending on the traffic.
Wishing you a wonderful time in Paris.

Thank you but I have booked a table at the Eiffel Tower restaurant at 6-30 and I arrive at CDG at 1-35 so don't have much time.

Hi Ian,

Paris is a small city, easy to navigate from one point to another. So I suggest to not stay close to those 2 touristice spots and find a good hotel anywhere in the center 6th, 5th, 4th 3rd, 2nd or 1st district. Eiffel tower is not the best place to stay (quiet and even sometimes desert, so not the part of Paris to go out for dinner or drink something) and Moulin Rouge is also north of Paris where you can find some streets with peep shows and immigrants coming for everywhere, so safe ( no problem about that) but lively and sometimes not so clean streets.
