Les Fabricants (11th district, 20 minutes by metro) is where I take friends when they are in Paris and everyone said it was amazing. It's home style traditional French plates and there are a number of bars on the same street with drinks from €3-€5 to start your night out.

Most meals cost on average between €10-€15 for a plate you will almost not be able to finish.

Parc de Bellville is also nearby and provides uninterrupted views of the city skyline at sunset.

For other recommendations nearby be sure to check out an app called The Fork which has nearby restaurants at discounted rates.
