Hey!
I will be in Paris for a week and need internet on my mobile (prepaid, just internet without french number), anyone can reccomemd where is the best place to buy one?

You can go to "Orange" store and ask there... they are a bit expensive, but good coverage.

Most all mobile phone plans allow internet usage for free if you just put in airplane mode, then turn on wifi, entering password for the cafe, etc. where given. There are several options for pre-paid internet worldwide, such as through skype, Boingo, etc. What plan do you currently have on your mobile phone? I use the pre-paid T-Mobile plan. The minimum is $3/month but $10 minimum on file. Once you sign up that provides 30 texts or 30 minutes of calling per month, wifi calling and use of internet. Again, I put the phone in airplane mode, turn on wifi and can use the internet anywhere it is offered. If you need the Internet in more than your place of lodging, free cafes, etc., you may want a mobile hotspot, as the sim cards will all have a French number as far as I know, but these links will clarify better than I can.
