The best thing to do here is to do as the Parisians do and sit down with a book, or chat with friends and passers by. There are some funny renamings of street and shop signs, and there's a great café in the middle featuring hobby horses parked alongside motorcycles.

Visit the Belleville and Ménilmontant quartiers while you’re in the area.

It's one of the largest science museums in Europe.
