Description

Many international movies were shot here including "Mission Impossible" this year, not far from the location of "Inception" with Leonardo DiCaprio. You will learn about the beginning of cinema invented by the Lumiere Brothers and how it is linked to the Eiffel Tower and the World's Fair. We will also talk about French movies like "The Last Metro" by François Truffaut or "Peur sur la Ville" with Jean-Paul Belmondo. After this walk, we'll go for a drink at cinema Club de L'Étoile, located just a few steps away from Arc de Triomphe, to enjoy a variety of French-inspired drinks and snacks, while mingling with our community of expats who come from all over the the world. You'll be able to enjoy a screening at the only place in Paris regularly playing recent French films with English subs!
☞ The walk starts at 5:30pm, drinks at 7:30pm, and the movie at 8pm.
