As you arrive and discover the beauty of the vineyards, your guide will provide you with everything you need to know about Champagne. How about starting the day by visiting the cellars of one of the most famous Champagne producers, like Champagne Moët & Chandon? Following the visit, your guide will show you other prestigious houses of the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay… Stop by the wonderful vineyard of Champagne and enjoy a Masterclass conducted by your wine expert guide (from April depending on weather). It is now time to enjoy a well-deserved break at a boutique winery for an exquisite and local 3 course meal paired with Champagnes from the house.

To ensure you have a perfect day, we have planned a last visit, at an winery where you will be able to see all the machines used to create Champagne…and to taste several more bubbles. Following this very complete and beautiful day, your guide will drive you safely back to the center of Paris.

(I'm sure no one has ever said..) Champagne in Champagne!
If you're going to visit France, then you have to try champagne. And if you're going to drink champagne, what better place to drink it than at the wineries where it is produced!!

Our tour guides, Richard of Reunion Island (our driver) and Victor were fantastic hosts. Being an early start (7am ex Paris), Richard understood that, at that time of day, most hotel restaurants were not yet open for breakfast. As such, he stopped at a bakery and brought us fresh croissants for breakfast before heading off on the leisurely drive to Epernay.

On site we visited a major winery (in this case Moët & Chandon) and then two smaller wineries, one of which provided us with a sumptuous luncheon. A few other sights were taken in as well, not to mention the numerous, picturesque French villages we passed through.

All of us on the tour were from English speaking countries and this was neither a problem for the Wine Passport hosts nor the staff at all of the wineries we visited. This tour is a fantastic day out and I, for one, would highly recommend it. I would gladly do it again (this time making room in my suitcase for some takeaways)!!!

Great Experience
My wife & I enjoyed every minute of our trip to the Champagne region with Wine Passport. Richard, our guide, was very entertaining and taught us a lot about the area, history, and the process in making Champagne. The countryside was beautiful and each of the 3 different houses we visited offered something different which kept the tour fresh and exciting. Who doesn't love Champagne!

Beautiful Champagne countryside
We enjoyed our day in Champagne, and tasted some wonderful wines as well as a nice lunch at one of the champagne houses. Our van picked us up in front of our apartment, and we were off!
The driver seemed to be a bit preoccupied with the lovely ladies in the front seat. (who could blame him, they were young and beautiful)
We were dropped off in a central part of Paris one that took us a bit to get our bearings, and decide how to get back to the part of Paris we were staying in.
