Stroll along the Swan River foreshore in Nedlands and follow the Nyoongar Aboriginal Dreaming Trail. From the city heading west there are walk and bike paths along the river foreshore. The river is incredibly beautiful and often you will see dolphins frolicking close to the shore, some amazing bird life and historical Nyoongar sites.

Why you should visit it
From Matilda Bay near UWA along to Nedlands Yacht Club and beyond is a serene area of parklands on the foreshore. I often see Dolphins frolicking here, Black Swans, Pelicans and other river bird life. Take some time to do a few exercises at the exercise stations along the pathways, have a picnic or BBQ and enjoy the beauty.

Walking early in the morning when the river is glassy is an exquisite time to stroll
