Bubble Tea is immensely popular here in Philly, particularly among young people and Asian expats. With so many bubble tea places around, especially in Chinatown, it's impressive how many of them have good business. Mr. Wish sets themselves apart from the others by specializing in hot and cold fruit teas that are both fresh and tasty.
Why you should visit it
This brand originated in Taiwan so it's a very authentic QQ tea shop. For people who love tea, but find the black tapioca 'bubbles' a bit too adventurous, Mr. Wish is for you. While the do serve a few milk teas with bubbles, most of their drinks contain fruit pieces or pulp, aloe vera, chia seeds, or sago (a much less dominating tapioca).
Special tip
They have multiple Philly locations, 2 of which are in center city: one in Chinatown, the other on South Street.
