When it comes to the sweets they make onsite, they try to keep it as authentic as possible by using as many local ingredients as possible, as well as obtaining cocoa beans from small, ethical companies.

Why you should visit it
The US is very well known for having chocolate and candy that lacks quality, thanks to the use of cheap ingredients like corn syrup, which Shane's doesn't use. They offer other high-quality, old-style candy from other American companies as well, in addition to own their chocolates, hot cocoa, and caramels.
Special tip
As they prefer to keep things old-school, they do not take card. But they use a fancy, old-fashion cash register that makes up for it.
