Summer Nights Under
Spruce Street Harbor Park6
Why locals love it
The crown jewel of Philadelphia's many seasonal "pop-up" gardens, bars, and restaurants, Spruce Street Harbor Park was created with the magic of summer in mind. From the twinkling lights and lanterns woven into the trees, to the colorful hammocks perfect for a nap or a cuddle, #SSHP has all the ingredients for that perfect low key summer night out.
Why you should visit it
The "boardwalk", set up along the harbor, sells craft beer, funnel cakes, and other goodies. Let the little ones roam around the park and explore, or head out with a group of friends to one of the free series of concerts and art exhibitions held in the park. Or go alone and find one of the most Instagram-worthy spots in the city.
Spruce Street Harbor Park is open May-September and is free to the public.
