Since 1950, Oliver B. James had been collecting and donating fine Mexican & American art to the Hayden Library. In 1977, they received an extensive collection of ceramic artwork to display as well. Finally, in 1989 the art museum doubled in size including five intriguing galleries and administrative offices. This museum is full of exciting history.
