This 1.75 mile trail takes about two hours. Locals love this trail because it is smooth with gentle hills and endless nature. The peak itself is a 600 foot granite summit overlooking the gorgeous valley. Pinnacle Peak is an exquisite habitat for Arizona wildlife. You are almost guaranteed to see creatures such as jackrabbits, lizards, and quail.
Take a walk on the wild side through the rugged landscape of Pinnacle Peak Park. The Moonlight Astronomy Walks are informative and exciting. Or test your courage with some rock climbing in certain parts of the park. There are quaint picnic tables available for guests to eat at. This is a perfect trail for hikers of all skill levels to explore.
The evening trail will close an hour before closing time at Pinnacle. The trail rangers will make you turn around if you don't reach the end in time.
