Locals can step into the world of the Hohokam culture and explore ancient archaeological artifacts. Visitors can venture down the Outdoor Trail or view three galleries displaying well-maintained Hohokam artifacts and Pueblo Grande dwellings. Or explore the changing gallery, which offers alternate exhibits such as pottery and southwest cultures.
The Pueblo Grande Museum is the biggest archaeological preserve in all of Phoenix. The Outdoor trail is an interesting exhibit that takes patrons through preserved Hohokam culture, with artifacts like the Ballcourt, Pithouses, and the Adobe Compound. You can also purchase Native American artifacts at their Museum store.
Children can enjoy the Hands-On Gallery and activities like building a miniature Hohokam village or learning about a stratigraphy wall.
