The location of Istanbul Sofra has been occupied by a lot of restaurants, but this is the one that has really hit the spot. Right on a busy corner across from a lovely park and a church, this restaurant offers outdoor seating and a diverse menu of Turkish favorites sure to please any visitor.
Simply put, this is some of the best food in Pittsburgh and it's in an unusual place. Spend an afternoon hiking in Frick Park across the street or browsing the shops in Regent Square and Squirrel Hill, then come here for dinner. Everything I have eaten here has been phenomenal and the service amazing. They serve delicious tea after every meal.
In warmer weather, sit outside under their canopy. There is a bit of traffic noise, but it's worth it for a lovely patio experience.
