If you are a local or visiting Pittsburgh, and you have time to spare while waiting for a game or for your dinner, it is worthwhile visiting this overlook of the city that can be reached by car or through the incline from Station square. The view of the city and its meeting rivers, bridges and skyscrapers are breathtaking specially at sunset.

Why you should visit it
It is a great site for photographers and it will give you an idea of Pittsburgh geography; it will also introduce you to many restaurants in Mount Washington that you will encounter in your walk. Many of there restaurants have the same view of the overlook if you happen to be there at night.
Special tip
Dress warm if you are visiting in winer or early spring. There is ample space to park the car there or you can take the incline from station square.
