The Frick Family mansion was remodeled and expanded into a museum for the public few years after the death of the Helen Clay Frick who inherited the house from her family. The museum/mansion still displays the family's collection of renaissance and late medieval paintings and bronzes as well as classical carriages and 100 year old cars.
