The Frick Art And Historical Center4
Why locals love it
The Frick Family mansion was remodeled and expanded into a museum for the public few years after the death of the Helen Clay Frick who inherited the house from her family. The museum/mansion still displays the family's collection of renaissance and late medieval paintings and bronzes as well as classical carriages and 100 year old cars.

Why you should visit it
If you are a classical art and cars' enthusiast, you will enjoy the fine collection in the museum and the stroll in the gardens and the greenhouse. The "Clayton" mansion tour where Helen lived is ticketed. You can reward yourself for a good lunch and tea in the cozy cafe that overlooks their garden. Do not forget to visit the Museum shop.
Special tip
The center has free parking, accessible from Reynolds street. It is a 20 minute ride from downtown.
