Why you should visit it
The monastery is located 9 km away from Ploiesti.The Holy Monastery Turnu was built inside the former medieval town of Targsor in the 15th century.The church in the town was built by the ruler Vlad Tepes and consacrated on June 24 ,1461.In 1671 Antonie of Popesti restored the church and turned the princely house into an abbey.
