Gallery Poriginal is owned by the Pori Art Museum and used since 1984 for changing exhibitions. The gallery space is located on the banks of the Kokemäenjoki River, in a former salt warehouse, in the immediate vicinity of the art museum and the city center. The building is a neo-renaissance style, built in 1885, designed by F.J. Lindström.
The Poriginal Gallery presents current Finnish and Satakunta art without forgetting the international perspective. The two-storey gallery building offers 235 m² of exhibition space.
