Leineperi's Blacksmith Village is a lovely Summer Destination, that offers lots of activities for families and other visitors. The area is fully preserved Blacksmith Village, that dates back to 17th century. The village was formed around the big Blast Furnace that provided a livelihood on the area.
Why you should visit it
Craftsman's workshops and sales workshops in old blacksmith's cottages are at visitor's reach. Activities include café-restaurant services, museums, an independent geocaching treasure track, a 9-basket frisbee golf course, a beach, a playground, grazing sheep as well summer theater.
Special tip
Villages annual cycle also includes multi-themed TEEMAruukki events with workshops, screenings and programs, as well as large market days.
