Shop for a cause

Why locals love it
If you're overwhelmed with the street vendors but still want to support Haiti's nascent tourist economy, this is one of several shops in the PAP area which sell products made by Haitian artisans in an effort to empower residents and promote social change.

Why you should visit it
There's a great selection of paper mache masks, jewelry made of bone, beads, and/or stone, traditional iron work, and wood or stone carvings. Prices are set at tourist level, so locals don't tend to shop here so much as we bring our friends or relatives here when they visit, but the money you spend is going to a great cause so it's worth it!
Special tip
ABN also has stores in Croix-des-Bouquet and Jacmel if you don't make it to this location during your visit.
