Mission Baptiste Gift Shop

Why locals love it

This is a good place to pick up affordable handicrafts, paintings, jewelry and gifts. Vendors outside have the best prices, though purchases made at the gift shop inside the mission support its work in economically vulnerable communities.

Why you should visit it

If you want to buy things to take home and don't feel like haggling (much) this is the place for you. The prices inside are set in dollars though you can pay with credit card, USD or gourdes. Handicrafts in the gift shop are usually displayed with information about the artisan and who your purchase benefits. Bargaining is the norm outside.

Special tip

Missionaries will appreciate the carved wood crosses for display and Christian themed jewelry available for purchase.
