In previous years, this outlook was a sketchy crop of concrete on the top of Mount Boutillier, just passed the TV and radio towers. Though a restaurant and bar takes up most of the space now, it’s still a good spot to get a view of the city.

This is one of several spots with a good overview of Port-au-Prince. This particular option is a pleasant drive up route d’ Kenscoff. I particularly enjoy hiking down from the overlook on the road, which doesn’t have a lot of traffic, and then catching a tap tap back to Petionville from the grocery store intersection.
There are a collection of small vendors at the entrance to the overlook to sell paintings and other artwork.
