Why locals love it
Affectionately known as The Tin Shed because that is how the Port Douglas and District Combined Clubs started. Before the boom time the Tin Shed was in the prime waterfront position on a peppercorn rent and over time it developed into an affordable restaurant and bar for it's visitors and members.

Why you should visit it
From Breakfast on the weekends to Lunch and Dinner everyday. Good variety of meals with the drink prices being the best in town. It is particularly so of the table wines with several being under $25 per bottle. Elsewhere in Port Douglas you will not find wine for less that $30. Visitors are welcome.
Special tip
The view and atmosphere is superb but hands down the price of bottle wine is brilliant.
