A local landmark catering to its Locals!

Pioneer Courthouse Square

Why locals love it

All year this inviting, public space shares fellowship, anonymity, and local fundamentals with tourists and locals alike. The TriMet transit-hub is at one end, barely noticeable in a weird way. The middle holds live concerts, fresh markets, kid/family stuff, cultural and artistic events; anything that gets us outside playing with others.

Why you should visit it

There is always something different staged on it or in it and the people-watching never disappoints, I promise. It's HUGE, soaked/surrounded by history (if that's your thing) and is smack in the middle of all that Downtown (SW) Portland has to offer. History, commerce, coffee, and a place to sit-n-watch the time pass high above on Her clock tower.

Special tip

Summer season offers farmer's markets with locally/ regionally grown produce/floral; there's always a few food carts placed along the top entrances.
