Founded in 1704, the Church of St Nicholas in the Lesser town is often described as the most impressive example of the Baroque Prague. The church is known not only for its architecture with a 70 m high dome but also for its beautiful interiors.
The Baroque organ of the church has over 4,000 pipes and was played by Mozart in 1787. The classical music concerts organized nowadays in the church are a unique cultural experience.
The weekly masses take place every Sunday at 8.30pm. The entrance fee during the week is 70 CZK.
