They serve decent enough coffee and with huge cups. It's a great place both to get some work done and for chatting with friends over coffee and cigarettes (there is a smoking room). It's best for the atmosphere, full of old furniture, big windows and books. Locally done art, photographs and crafts line the walls.

You can come here for a quiet escape away from noisy and crowded Wenceslas Square, or as I do, to meditate while drinking coffee while staring at the fountain in the entry hall. Coffee is about the same price as Starbucks, but it's a lot less touristic. They also have rooms to rent if you have a small training or class.

The breakfast is a great deal here, a breakfast cake with coffee for only 40 crowns, or a variety of other deals. Afternoon, it's a good place to grab a brew - they serve Uneticke. Also, Jamm Club downstairs has open mic on Monday nights.

Easily accessible with good prices! My absolute favorite is their takeaway latte, which comes in a big cup and tastes absolutely amazing. So even if you don't have much time, you can pop in quickly and grab a cup for your wandering around Prague.

This retro-styled café has a separated smoking and non-smoking part, and the menu is fully in English. Numerous varieties of hot chocolates (or iced coffees as a summer option) make it really hard to choose, so it's better to pop in more than just once! Kávovarna does not offer hot meals, but their choice of sandwiches and small snacks will do.
