It offers what most Czechs like--solid pub food at very good value--in a pretty nice place located in the grimiest part of Prague's arguably most exciting neighbourhood, Žižkov, with a very interesting selection of beers from smaller Czech breweries, all kept in excellent condition.
Why you should visit it
It's close enough to the centre to be easy to reach, even by food, but far enough to be safe from the weekend tourist crowd. The limited menu is almost exclusively Czech classics, with some truly top of the range beer snacks to help you drink more of the 10 pivos they have on tap
