The Church of Our Lady before Týn has been the main church of the Old Town since the 14th century. It is one of the finest examples of the Czech Gothic architecture with the characteristic towers in one of which there is a huge 960 kg bell.
After the St Vitus Cathedral this is probably the most photographed church in the country and the dominant feature of the Old Town of Prague. The cathedral serves as an impressive gallery of Gothic, Renaissance and Early Baroque works.
