Parallel Polis

Why locals love it

The name of this creative 4-floors building is based on the political-social concept established in 1978 by Czech political thinker and dissident Vaclav Benda as a way to escape the totalitarian communist regime, the idea is still vibrant even in the post-communist era. Founding members are people from Czech "guerilla" artist group Ztohoven.

Why you should visit it

Ground floor is dedicated to Bitcoin coffee, flat currency is not accepted here, so you will need to buy bitcoins first. You can get them in a dedicated ATM inside. In the upper floor you can find a creative open space office called Paper hub as all the furniture is designed out of paper only. Top floor is used for hackers meetups and discussions.

Every Thursday you can come for the cupping and taste various types of delicious coffees or just go to the basement and try out the 3D printers there.
