When visiting Prague Castle, is it permitted to leave the castle grounds (ex. to go for lunch) and then re-enter on the same admission ticket? Thank you.

Hello Janice,

Prague Castle grounds are open for free and you can visit them as many times you wish from 6am - 10pm.

The ticket only allows you to enter the interiours of the Castle and other paid areas. Each of them you can only visit once.

Tickets are valid for two days (the day of the purchase and the following day).

The basic ticket called "Circuit B" allows you to enter St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica, Golden Lane with Daliborka Tower. It costs 250 CZK.

The Golden lane is open for free after 5pm and the front part of St. Vitus Cathedral is also open for free (whole day).

If you wish to see the paid areas, just count with at least 2-3h to see everything.

Yes, mormally its valid for two days, but you have to check this. Tix are just for the special areas!
