I will be in Prague in a few weeks time & will be staying in Parizska, Prague 110 00. I am allergic to both dairy and soy products and upon arrival I will need to buy (amongst other things) rice drink, dairy free and soy free margarine and dairy free and soy free bread. I have checked on line and found rice drink at Tesco. Does anyone know if they have dairy free and soy free margarine and bread? (Their website does not have a list of the ingredients for each product.) If not can any one recommend a supermarket that does? Many thanks.

Hello, in Prague a lot of people has diets like that, Tesco has that but unfortunately, tesco is usually on the outside of Prague. I would say for you is the best to order products on rohlik.cz Or itesco.cz or Kosik.cz
We have a lot of platforms, for you it’ll be easier, sometimes they are even cheaper.
All products they have has info what’s inside so for you easier to find out.
If you don’t want to use any of these platforms, then I recommend to go to countrylife it’s on many places in Prague, it’s store for vegetarian and vegan full of these things or try Delmart they sell vegan things too.
Have a nice trip,

Thank you Anna very much for this information. I have looked at all of your suggestions on line and it will be very helpful, Margaret
Sorry, its not true that Tesco is on outside of Prague - the very huge department store at Anděl, near by this one are two smaller stores (Express Tesco), the department store MY at "Národní" avenue and more Tesco Express Stores at Vinohrady and New Town.....
On the other hand it´ll be better to visit stores focused on veggie. Here you are the map with points of veggie stores: https://www.vegmania.cz/prodejny

Wow, so many veggie options!! Thanks so much - it is very helpful. (PS I did know about the Tesco at Národní and will be going there first and I noted that it is not very far from a Delmart and a Country Life store so I will look at them as well)
Margaret: Yes! And behind the department store My is Beas Vegetarian Dhaba - vegetarian restaurant ;) Enjoy!

So it is! It's a good thing I will be doing a lot of walking so I can work off all the delicious food I will be eating!
Hi Ralda, just wanted to let you know that I got dairy free soy free bread at Tesco MY plus rice milk and Perla margarine. I also bought the Knackebrot there. I popped into Bakeshop today at Kozi 1 110 00 Praha 1 and got some potato bread which is DF & SF and absolutely delicious . I spoke with the owner and he told me everything I could eat. I have travelled with an allergy card - translated to Czech - and it has been really helpful. Thank you for your help. Off to Krakow tomorrow!
Margaret, thanks and hope you enjoyd Prague! :) Awesome that owner of Bakeshop Kozi was so helpful!
As a bread try tu buy KNÄCKEBROT (rye), there is only rye. As a margarin try HERA or PERLA. In both is no milk (dairy free) or soy, only vegetable oils (palm, colza, sunflower). But beware, Hera contains whey (dont know your allergy, some milk allergic individual can eat whey because there is no casein)!
