Praque for wedding anniversary

Hi there, my husband and I are planning on visiting Praque for 3days in September for our anniversary, any good cheap hotels that can make our stay worthy? Any recommendations of things to do? I'm more adventurous while hubby is a bit lay back so a bit of both will do as we compromise a lot,
Thanks in advance

Hi-

I need to know a bit more info on how intrepid you are as far, as walking goes? Tell me a little more about your interests.

My favorite hotel before I got a flat is the 'Hotel Petr' on the left side of the river, near the main tram #22. There are virtually no Americans, mostly German, the breakfast is very extensive and the whole place exudes an Old World ambience. Check rates on their website.

Hello Catherine,

September is definitely a good timing for your Prague stay, however, it is still considered to be a high season, so even chepar hotels may charge you higher prices.

I would definitely go with AirBnB, it is becoming very popular here and you can stay in beautiful locations for really good money. So if you don´t insist on hotel breakfast, it is a good option...:-)

Many hotels have also mid week specials (better prices during working days).
You can check for example Miss Sophie´s. http://miss-sophies.com/

And things to do - well - many. I have written quite a few tips here on Like a local - what to do and see. Please find bellow a short selection for you and your hubby.

Hi Catherine,
well, it depends what do you mean by cheap :-) one of the best budget options is Mosaic House, which is a hostel, but provides very good quality accommodation. If you'd like to get something better, try to go for some AirBnB deals. Another good picks might be Hotel Jungmann or Residence Agnes. And for recommendations what do do, check out our tours and activities or our YouTube channel, where we share tips for local sights.
