A legendary Prague beer house whose benches have been filled by leading personalities from Czech cultural and political life and through which the history of the Czech nation has passed. And this local place is truly unique, as regular citizens meet here at a single table with artists or politicians and discuss with them over excellent Pilsner Urquell beer.
During his first visit to Prague, the American President Bill Clinton also went there to sample the beer with Václav Havel and the writer Bohumil Hrabal.
Thanks to its great popularity, it is difficult to find a seat in order to taste the excellent beer and the renowned specialities.
